For sale a great looking British Telecom “Ambassador” rotary dial, model 8100R Telephone dating back to 1981. The phone is in the ‘Standard Yellow’ colour (egg-yolk yellow to the rest of us) and “was the first UK telephone designed for the plug-and-socket connection which soon began to replace the wired-in (hard-wired) connection of previous telephones.”
The phone is in excellent vintage condition, with very minor age related wear, and looks absolutely fabulous. The phone also works well, though it needs a small adaptor (which we will gladly supply).
