For sale a beautiful and hard to come by vintage Habitat “Tangola” table / desk lamp dating from circa early 2000s. Often wrongly attributed to Baltensweiler, these lamps are certainly reminiscent of the Swiss firms designs.
Produced for only a short period at the beginning of this century, these lamps consist of a brushed metal tube shade with a chrome effect switch nested in the top, a slender chrome arm which is mounted on a heavy painted cast iron circular base and can be twisted and turned into multiple positions.
In full working order and in excellent vintage condition, with the only issues of note being a very small shallow dent and a scratch to the shade (see photos) but absolutely nothing to detract.
