For sale this spectacular vintage pair of Modernist, space age “Foglio” chrome plated sconces / wall lights, designed in 1966 by Tobia Scarpa and produced by Flos, Italy.
These Foglio (meaning ‘sheet’ or ‘leaf’ in Italian) lights consist of a champagne tinted chrome plated exterior and a white enamelled interior and each light houses two lamp holders. This pair are in good working order and are in good vintage condition, with age appropriate marks and scratches to the chrome surfaces and some paint loss to the edges of the lights, though this doesn’t overly detract from the beauty and impact of the lights (see photos for the worst of it).
As with all vintage electrics it is advisable to have these checked and installed by a qualified electrician.
