For sale a beautiful Danish-style Rosewood Mid-Century Modernist chest of drawers produced by British firm, Wrighton and dating from the 1960s.
This stunning, well proportioned and very rare piece of Modernist British design consists of 6 varying sized drawers, going from small at the top to larger at the bottom, each with turned inlaid handles and mounted on solid Rosewood octagonal legs. The side panels are finished in a contrasting Teak veneer.
The chest is in good vintage condition, with general wear commensurate with 50+ years of age and use. Of note, the drawers have some sideways movement on their runners, though nothing to detract, and the front right leg has a slight bend at the bottom but the unit sits perfectly level.
