Mid Century Gino Sarfatti Model 600P Table Lamp For Arteluce, Italy 1966

For sale the iconic and rare 600P table lamp by GINO SARFATTI, designed in 1966 and produced by Arteluce of Italy.

The lamp is adjustable in so much as it can be placed at all sorts of angles thanks to its lead filled weighted pouch base. The body is made of black lacquered aluminium and is in overall superb vintage condition with only a few minor marks and scratches to the shade (see photos).

This ingenious design was intended as a lamp you could pack in a suitcase and take on holiday and was exhibited at the 14th Milan Triennal in 1968.
