Martine Bedin “Super” Lamp by Memphis Group, 1981

For sale an important, highly collectible and iconic piece of late 20th Century design, the wonderful “Super” Lamp, designed by Martine Bedin in 1981 and produced by the revolutionary design outfit,  Memphis Group, Milano, Italy. These lamps are highly sought after and are included in major museum collections worldwide.

This wonderfully playful design consists of a domed painted fibreglass body with 6 differently coloured metal lamp holders and four rubber wheels. The lamp is an early production which is in good working order and in good vintage condition. Sold with a UK standard 3-pin plug and controlled from an in-line on/off switch.
