Iconic Ingo Maurer “Lucellino” Table Lamp by Ingo Maurer GmbH (Design M), 1992

For sale the wonderfully playful “Lucellino” Table lamp, designed by Ingo Maurer in 1992 and produced by his own label, Ingo Maurer GmbH (Design M). Lucellino is a play on words: “Luce”, Italian for light, and “uccellino”, the Italian for little bird.

This exceptional and iconic Maurer design, featuring a distinctive winged lightbulb, consists of a pair of hand-made wings (from genuine goose feathers), flanking a dimmable exposed bulb, mounted on an adjustable (flexible) brass wire. The lamp works well and is in good vintage condition. Of note, the wings aren’t as white as they would have once been.
