For sale a very large and very beautiful Harvey Guzzini white mushroom shaped adjustable floor lamp, circa late 1960s, early 70s.
Made of chrome, with a bright white mushroom-shaped acrylic shade, which takes two bulbs and is height-adjustable and giving off a beautiful, bright glow.
The lamp is in good working order and in excellent vintage condition. Retaining both it’s lucite, height adjustable, cable tidies on the stem which are without damage; the acrylic shade has no damage to it and is bright and clean; the exposed chrome is mostly in very good vintage condition with minor marks and scratches and some of the hidden metalwork has some mild rusting, all commensurate with age and use but absolutely nothing to detract (please see photos for the worst of it). Also, especially to the top, the chrome on the upright has got some mild discolouration/stains which I have also tried to photograph but this isn’t noticeable unless you get close up to it.
The lamp has a fantastic, sculptural and iconic look about it and really comes to life when switched on.
