For sale a stunning 1970’s Danish cased Armchair consisting of Brazilian Rosewood (Palisander) moulded Ply frame with eye-catching brass details + brown leather upholstery. Reminiscent of Tobia Scarpa’s furniture, this chair originates from Denmark and was produced in 1973, though the make and designer are unknown.
The frame is firm and in very good vintage condition with some minor marks and scratches. The leather is worn, commensurate with 40 years of age with some cracking but with no holes or tears.
Beautifully constructed and stunningly designed, low-slung and broad, the chair oozes quality and style and would look fantastic in any retro, modernist, contemporary or eclectic setting.
