For sale this rare and fabulous, tall Italian Postmodern “Gesto Terra” standard floor lamp designed by Bruno Gecchelin for Skipper & Pollux in 1974.
Featuring a gorgeous heavy white marble base, a long double stem in chromed tubular steel with a white metal uplighter head and controlled from an inline foot switch and very marginally dimmable from a knob housed in the marble base. The lamp is in working order, and in good vintage condition, with some scratches to the paintwork and with marks and a few chips to the marble, commensurate with age & use but nothing to detract. Please note that this is a very tall lamp, so would benefit from a generous ceiling height.
