For sale a beautifully stylish and hard-to-come-by vintage Habitat “Tangola” table / desk lamp dating from circa early 1990s. Often wrongly attributed to Baltensweiler, these lamps are certainly reminiscent of, if not in the manner of the Swiss firms designs.
Produced for only a very short period at the beginning of this century, these lamps consist of a brushed metal tube shade with a chrome effect switch nested in the top, a slender chrome arm which is mounted on a heavy painted cast iron circular base and can be twisted and turned into multiple positions.
In full working order and in superb vintage condition, with some minor age & use related wear to the shade including two tiny dents and a scratch to the top, but absolutely nothing to detract.
