For sale a fabulous glass & brass Space Age “Trianon” (model P-1449.00) flush mount ceiling light by RAAK Amsterdam, dating from the 1970s.
This beautiful light consists of a large, thick, smoked glass shade with three lava style dimples/dips that correspond with the three bulbs (SES E14) on the brass/gold effect triple lamp holder. The photos have been taken with mirror bulbs but clear bulbs would certainly deliver a more dramatic lighting effect.
The light is in good working order and in excellent vintage condition, with minor wear commensurate with 50+ years of age & careful use. Of note, one of the original shade mounting thumb-screws has been replace with a non matching chrome thumb-screw at some point in the light’s history (see photo) and there are some chips to the non-visible edge of the glass aperture but nothing to detract. The light still retains it’s original RAAK label.
