For sale a stunning and rare pair of Mid Century wall sconces designed by E. Cooke for Conelight Limited, England, circa 1966.
The lights, which are gold in colour and made of anodised aluminium, are superbly constructed, in working order and in very good vintage condition with some age related marks and scratches, commensurate with 50+ years of age and careful use. Each light is controlled from an in-line switch on their respective cables, which in turn are wired into a single plug. The design of the light allows for the mounting of a push-button switch in the slender mounting block (currently plugged).
A hard-to-come-by and elegant piece of British Mid 20th Century Modernist design that would work particularly well as bedside lights.
