For sale a stunning and rare Mid Century Lumitron Series 3000 ceiling pendant light, designed by industrial design maestro Robert Welch in 1966, makes quite a design statement and is in fantastic condition and in good working order.
The light, which is the smaller of the two sizes available in the range, has an outer see-through smokey grey perspex shade with an inner white acrylic globe and white diffuser with downward facing aperture. The light is sold with the original Lumitron ceiling rose.
An iconic piece of British Mid 20th Century Space Age design that gives off a wonderful glow and looks absolutely fantastic. In superb vintage condition with minor age related wear to the acrylic and chrome parts, commensurate with 50+ years of age and careful use.
