Hovmand-Olsen Teak Danish Coffee Table for Mogens Kold, 1960s

A rare Mid Century Modernist model “MK 118” coffee table designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen and produced by Mogens Kold of Denmark in the 1960s.

This long, elegant teak table with it’s rich grain and sleek lines is beautiful in it’s simplicity and typical of Olsen’s approach.

The table is in good vintage condition and structurally sound. Of note, the top has been touched up in places (see photos) and the legs have some undefined specs/marks, none of which overly detracts from the overall look and effect of the table. The makers mark and the Danish Control badge are present underneath.
