Mid-Century Max Ingrand Glass Sconces by Fontana Arte, c.1970s

For sale a pair of Mid-Century Modernist, space age ‘teardrop’ cut glass and chrome sconces/wall lights, attributed to Max Ingrand and produced by Fontana Arte of Italy, circa 1970s.

The lights consist of two ‘teardrop’ shaped thick cut glass elements, in different shades of green, with an oval chrome detail. They are in working order and in very good vintage condition, with only a few very minor marks to the glass. The metal lamp holders are different from one another (no idea why?), which isn’t obvious but needs to be pointed out for the sake of accuracy and there is, as a result, a marginal discrepancy in depth between the lights.
