Oil on Canvas “Crazy Tuesday” by Herwig Van Holsbeeck, 1975

For sale a stunning oil on canvas painting by titled “Zotte Dinsdag” (Crazy Tuesday) by Dutch artist, Herwig Van Holsbeeck and dating from 1975.

Mounted in a fabulous modernist wooden frame, the painting is in good vintage condition, is signed “Herwig ’75” and the colours are bright & punchy, though there are some very small areas of paint loss and some areas cracking (see photos) and the frame has some age related wear and some gaps in the joints. Despite the issues this is a truly beautiful piece and looks absolutely fantastic in the frame!
