For sale a beautiful & very rare Space Age Murano Opalescent Art Glass & chrome pendant ceiling light designed by Giusto Toso for Leucos of Italy, circa 1960s.
This stunning mid-century piece, consisting of a cylindrical shaped, blueish opalescent & milk-white, hand blown glass shade with ‘dimpled’ detail and a central chrome chambre running through the middle, delivering the bulb at the fluted bottom-end. The design controls the way the light travels up into the blown glass, bringing it to life and giving off a wonderful glow and beautiful refractions. The light has it’s original black metal ceiling rose, adjustable white spiral flex and is in excellent vintage condition with bright & clean chrome and the glass undamaged.
