For sale an iconic piece of Mid Century Modernist Americana, the CRUSADER kids school desk chair, manufactured by the American Seating Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan and dating back to the 1950’s.
The desk is beautifully constructed, solid, sturdy and in wonderful vintage condition. With it’s original paintwork and a lifetime of wear, rust & patina, commensurate with and reflecting the story of this great piece of American utility furniture. The formica topped desk is removable and height adjustable and despite looking incongruous, is the original (the formica being hard to deface and easy to clean).
