For sale a stunningly elegant and very rare Arne Hovmand Olsen designed Teak floating surfboard style Coffee Table with woven cane magazine shelf, produced by Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik of Denmark in the 1950’s.
This beautiful teak table, with it’s distinctive lip-edged ends and floating top, is in great overall condition. There are a few small dents and gouges to the edges of the table, the worst of which I have photographed and none of which detracts from the beauty of this piece. Apart from this the table is in very good vintage condition, having only minor marks and scratches, commensurate with 50+ years of age & use, but again, nothing to detract. The magazine shelf has been newly re-woven, back to it’s original state, using natural cane.
